Results of printing a 2 micron CD pattern. The left column is the result of a traditional coherent imaging exposure.
The high spatial frequency components of the image do not pass the lens. The center column shows the results of
two offset exposures, one in the x-direction and a second in the y-direction. The high frequency components are
present, but the low frequency components are missing. Finally, the right column shows the results of all three
exposures. The full pattern is recovered.
