Intelligence Community Post Doctoral Fellow Job Opening

Applications are invited for the prestigious Intelligence Community (IC) postdoctoral fellow at the Center for High Technology Materials (University of New Mexico) to develop next generation nanoscale sensors using plasmonic resonators. The mission of the Intelligence Community (IC) Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program is to establish long-term relationships and mentoring of postdoctoral researchers as they move into career positions and provide innovative solutions to critical Intelligence Community problems. The post-doctoral researcher will be working under the supervision of Prof. Sanjay Krishna at UNM to develop high performance infrared focal plane arrays (FPA) using Type II InAs/GaSb superlattices. Research in Prof. Krishna's group involves epitaxial growth, fabrication and characterization of III-V semiconductor materials for mid infrared FPAs. The candidates must have earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Materials Science/Physics or a closely related field, preferably in the past five years, with thorough knowledge about III-V optoelectronic physics, materials and devices. The candidate must be a US Citizen.

TO APPLY: If you are interested in this position, kindly contact, Prof. Sanjay Krishna, CHTM/ECE Dept, Phone: (505) 272 7800 Email: skrishna@chtm.unm.edu. To learn more Prof. Krishna's research group, please visit www.chtm.unm.edu/krishna
